Software Developers and Craftsman
Pluses: Examples of previous work in the world (GitHub, App Stores, Websites); Mobile Development experience: iOS, Android.
Requirements: Broad knowledge of software development projects; Comfortable working with a wide variety of team members and client stakeholders, including executive sponsors; Ability to solve new and complex problems in effective and elegant ways; Able to collaborate with a small team of designers and developers in a fast paced environment; Attention to detail and appreciation for high-quality deliverables and client experiences; Excellent self-management and communication skills.
Pluses: Healthcare background, Agile or Lean experience.
Human Factors Engineers
Requirements: Ability to learn; High capacity to experiment with new ideas; Belief that users are brilliant, and considers them in designs; Ability to stay current with latest research and trends; Has the capacity and drive to do more than just what is asked of them.
More specifically, you will: Lead and contribute to various Human Factors practices (Ethnographic Research, Information architecture, Wireframes / Prototypes, Cognitive psychology—know why designs are good); Participate in daily stand-up meetings with the team; Contribute to Sprint Planning sessions, Retrospectives, and other team collaboration as needed; Update project planning tools to track progress, estimates, comments, etc.
