Children’s Hospital - Mobile App for Patient Families
Challenge
To continue to provide the best possible experience visitors of the main campus, this hospital wanted to develop a mobile app that would provide guidance and navigational support. Their goal was to iteratively develop a premier application based on user feedback.
Solution
This children’s hospital developed a 5-Star mobile app that provides a digital parking pass, parking spot reminder, landmark navigation, and real-time updates of patient surgery status.
The POMIET User Experience Tiger Team worked closely with patient families to understand the top needs for visitors of the hospital. These needs were prioritized and designed into the mobile app, following our iterative design, prototype, and test process. Within 3 weeks the development team had a solid design upon which they could begin development.
